Updates
There isn’t much to tell about May. I played for two concerts, auditioned, continued post-production for my music video, filmed a couple YouTube shorts, and worked. I did have some fun with family and friends too, so it wasn’t all work lol.
In the acting world, there can be a lot of noise — especially when your career feels stagnant. There are so many opinions about what you could be doing wrong: the technical side of self-taping, acting choices being “too safe,” not networking enough, using AI, etc. It’s been overwhelming trying to figure out what I specifically need to work on to start booking.
When that happens, I tend to shut down instead of making changes. I still haven’t decided what my next steps will be, but right now I’m focusing on what I can do: audition.
Next month I have no performing opportunities (yet). However, I will continue to work on post-production of my first audiobook and my music video will be released! I don’t have a premier date yet, but my goal is mid-late June.
